Evaluation, Grants, & Data
AIU's Evaluation, Grants, and Data department helps school districts leverage strengths to develop, build, implement, and evaluate dynamic educational programs, attract dollars to support those programs, and align curriculum and utilize technology to improve the efficiency of those programs.
Comprehensive Data Analysis for School Improvement (CDA)
CDA is a web-based data tool that enables schools to make informed decisions about students, school policy, curricula, strategic planning, and programs based on data through the AIU-developed data collection, management, and analysis system.
Family and Community Liaison Academy
Despite its documented benefits, many schools struggle to implement and maintain effective parent engagement. In addition to using parent engagement as an educational support, it is a compliance item included in Title I monitoring. To support schools in implementing and sustaining effective parent and community engagement, Allegheny Intermediate Unit is now offering the Family and Community Liaison Academy. Join the Family and Community Liaison Academy to learn new parent and community involvement strategies and network with others involved in parent involvement roles throughout the region.

Our Grant Development Specialist facilitates the grant development process from research and data collection to preparing and reviewing the proposal through evaluation.
Our Evaluation Specialists work with organizations and their stakeholders to analyze programs, design and conduct program evaluations, and prepare final reports, both for required reporting and also as a method of program improvement.
As a result of the strategic planning process, AIU identified a need for systematic and ongoing program evaluation. This level of evaluation involves requesting feedback from customers who participate in trainings, workshops, seminars, consultations, etc. via a short survey.
