Class Offerings

Adult Education

In Adult Education classes, parents receive instruction to achieve educational and employment goals. Classes are designed to meet each individual adult's educational needs. Topics include Math, GED preparation, ESL, and more.

Parent Education*

Parent Education classes assist parents in being their children's first teacher through activities and information about learning and literacy.  Classes are offered face to face, computer based (distance learning), or homework based.  Topics include:

  • Understanding Common Core
  • Working with Beginning Readers
  • Using Literacy Resources
  • STEAM in Everyday Life

Interactive Literacy Activities

In Interactive Literacy Activities, parents and children work together on literacy activities. Activities are designed for both parent and child to gain knowledge and practice skills. Activities include after-school programs, homework assignments, and community engagement activities.

*Classes are for parents of children ages 8 and under
